Collaboration Between Furniture Producing Regions

How can we create value as JAPAN FURNITURE?

Japan’s furniture-producing regions have each cultivated unique techniques and cultures, pushing each other to constantly improve. At the same time, amidst increasingly pressing global competition and market changes, regions and companies can only do so much on their own. What can we share with each other as a means to collaborate across regional and company lines? This talk session explores the possibilities and challenges posed by this question through direct discussion between furniture manufacturers. The conversation covers ways to bring together the shared will necessary to ensure Japanese furniture’s place on the world stage and explores concrete perspectives for shaping the entire industry’s future.
